 Welcome to the ICCE website:

The Indiana Council for Continuing Education provides a forum for continuing education professionals working in higher education and related settings. Keep up to date on the newest program and marketing ideas, network with your colleagues from around Indiana, and participate in conferences to learn about innovative programs, as well as issues affecting continuing education in our state. Each year ICCE sponsors a fall “Learn from Success” workshop to highlight innovative practices, a spring professional development conference, and a support staff workshop.

In addition to this website, we also encourage you to visit our Facebook page. We hope that your college or university will join ICCE and help to shape the future of continuing higher education in Indiana. We also look forward to meeting you and sharing ideas at an upcoming ICCE event.

ICCE: Who We Are

The Indiana Council for Continuing Education (ICCE) is a professional organization that represents continuing education (CE) efforts at Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) and other organizations that promote adult learning in the state of Indiana. ICCE is the only state-focused continuing education organization in Indiana.

Members include organizations that provide continuing education activities such as:

• Adult degree programs
• Non-credit programs
• Distance education
• Economic and workforce development
• Employer/contract training
• Lifelong learning/personal enrichment
• Professional development
• Community outreach
• Conferencing
• Other non-traditional programs

Our Purpose

ICCE supports its member institutions by increasing the contribution of continuing education efforts and lifelong learning initiatives for adult learners. ICCE accomplishes this effort by establishing and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice; fostering a network of cooperative relationships among continuing educators statewide; serving as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas; acting as an advocate for its members; and being a leader in shaping public dialogue about continuing education and the role of lifelong learning for adult learners.

ICCE provides a statewide forum to advance the creation and implementation of postsecondary continuing education endeavors that are accessible to the people of Indiana and improve their personal and professional lives.
